Appreciation is one of the greatest gifts. The ability to stop to observe and to absorb a moment, a place, a thing, to truly appreciate it, is a wonderful sensation.

 But you know what they say, “hindsight is 20/20”. It was the fresh green that drew me in, and I was not open to the possibility of anything else at the moment. 

Something is always going on below the surface, a reminder that all things are interconnected and depend on each other to continue this cycle of life.

Continuing down the path, going around the bend, was precisely what I needed to do.  I will try remembering this in the future; something could always be better around the bend.
