While many people use their cameras as an excuse to travel to far-flung corners of the world, I use mine to transport myself home again.

Sometimes the best thing to do is nothing.

It is a feeling hard to put into words. It is excitement and calmness, in the same moment.

Change can bring about new experiences.  Sometimes that change is as simple as asking questions.       

With my newfound time in hand, I grabbed my camera bag and headed off to a little spot near my house where I was sure to find something to photograph

Why is it so hard to follow my own advice?

Screens and attention-grabbing algorithms should not be so prevalent in our lives. It should be the trees, mountains, and streams that we seek out.
