This act of creating our art is how we improve the quality. It is through the habit of creating that we increase our skill and our knowledge.

This is a perfect environment to let go of plans and give in to the pure, beautiful chaos all around.

Always learning. Or, maybe more accurately, always realizing how much I don’t know.

If there is a message in my photography, it is this. The world is a beautiful place.

 As I stood in the middle of a stream with my camera, it wasn’t the image in the viewfinder I was capturing; it was the experience I was having in that moment.      

While many people use their cameras as an excuse to travel to far-flung corners of the world, I use mine to transport myself home again.

Sometimes the best thing to do is nothing.

“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”

“The world is rich in small wonders….But so poor in eyes that see them.”

“Right now is good, and that’s all that matters”.

It is a feeling hard to put into words. It is excitement and calmness, in the same moment.

Change can bring about new experiences.  Sometimes that change is as simple as asking questions.
