Tomorrow
I love this quote! There is hope and excitement in it. The joy of looking forward to new things and new possibilities. A reminder that there will be an opportunity to try something new. There will be an opportunity to visit a new place. That there is always more art to create. That there will always be tomorrow.
I often visit similar places when I am practicing my photography, but there is always a new experience to be had. Even if my images are similar to the ones I took last week or yesterday, the experience is different. I am different. Those differences may be subtle, but they are there, undeniable. It could be a change in light or weather. A foggy day versus a sunny day. One trip may yield still, calm conditions, and the next, windy, turbulent conditions. That is what makes the prospect of tomorrow so exciting. What one captures today can not be captured tomorrow. Tomorrow is always different.
I look forward to tomorrow. It is a chance to grow. An opportunity to try new things or improve upon skills not quite mastered. The latter is especially true for me. The first try at anything is rarely a success. Practice is where one can improve their skills, and tomorrow is a great day to practice, and tomorrow after that. The potential for growth is endless, as is tomorrow.
I don’t know what tomorrow holds, and that is exciting in and of itself. I may create my favorite image tomorrow, knowing that tomorrow after that I will have a chance to make a better one. I might discover a new technique, one I can continue to hone and improve upon tomorrow. It is a gift to be able to create my art and to chase my passions tomorrow. And tomorrow again, and tomorrow again. I can’t wait to see what I make tomorrow.
